| Well it's that time again where you hunt around in the loft/attic/garage for your cricket gear, find that your whites are either mouldy, full of holes or both, and that the bat has woodworm, but start thinking of that next century (or the ones you should have had Damo) or another 5-wicket haul.
Anyway...enough dreaming.
Some things to note going into the season are:
The clubhouse has had a total internal overhaul...largely financed by club member donations and hard work. Please treat it with total respect...and if you don't, don't be surprised to receive a verbal or physical bashing from one of those who took part in the work that's taken place!
We have new Sunday captains in Billy King (1st XI) and Matt Renvoise (2nd XI) who will be looking to but the fun back in Sunday cricket, establishing regular sides, and building Sunday cricket back up to what it should be. Please offer them your support.
Finally, games start this weekend (17th/18th April) with two fixtures each day and then build up again to more games next week. This time of year is always difficult from an availability perspective, so please make every effort to play (and to let people know if you can play).
See you at the Park!
